DIY Aromatherapy Blends for Stress, Anxiety and Mood


Many of us are affected by stress or anxiety in our lives, and for some of us this can be a daily battle. But with the world currently facing a time of uncertainty & distress during the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, it is no surprise that many of us have been left with intense feelings of stress & anxiousness facing the coming weeks of isolation & quarantine.

It can be quite daunting how to cope with the new circumstances we have been faced with & even those who may not exactly feel anxious, can still be left feeling low. 
It is TOTALLY NORMAL & completely natural to experience overwhelming feelings at a time like this & it’s what makes us human. At The Coconut Bee we are massively inspired by nature and the natural world & we know the importance Aromatherapy can play in soothing our mental well being as well as the physical.
Aromatherapy blends have been used for centuries to bring peace, calm and uplift the spirit & we want to share with our coconut community some easy DIY blends that may help you cope during troubling times. And you won’t need any more than 4 oils to make them! 
NOTE: You will need to use 100% pure essential oils for these blends to achieve the best therapeutic effect.
STRESS
  • 30ml Carrier Oil (Almond, Grapeseed, etc)
  • 5 drops Lavender Essential Oil 
  • 3 drops Ylang Ylang Essential Oil
  • 2 drops Patchouli Essential Oil
ANXIETY 1
  • 30ml Carrier Oil (Almond, Grapeseed, etc)
  • 6 drops Lavender Essential Oil
  • 4 drops Clary Sage Essential Oil 
  • 2 drops bergamot Essential Oil 
  • Not suitable during pregnancy
ANXIETY 2
  • 30ml Carrier Oil (Almond, Grapeseed, etc)
  • 5 drops Lavender Essential Oil 
  • 4 drops Ylang Ylang Essential Oil 
  • 2 drops Roman Chamomile Essential Oil
ANXIETY 3
  • 30ml Carrier Oil (Almond, Grapeseed, etc)
  • 3 drops Bergamot Essential Oil 
  • 2 drops Neroli Essential Oil 
  • 2 drops Sandalwood Essential Oil 
UPLIFTING
  • 30ml Carrier Oil (Almond, Grapeseed, etc)
  • 5 drops of Eucalyptus Essential Oil 
  • 4 drops Rosemary Essential Oil 
  • 3 drops Grapefruit Essential Oil 
HAPPY
  • 30ml Carrier Oil (Almond, Grapeseed, etc)
  • 4 drops Lime Essential Oil 
  • 2 drops Ylang Ylang Essential Oil 
  • 1 drop Jasmine Essential Oil 
  • 1 drop Black Pepper Essential Oil

* Always exercise caution when creating your own aromatherapy blends, always patch test before use to ensure you are not allergic to any of the oils. We recommend applying small amounts to wrists and temples or these blends can be used in an oil burner or added to an atomizer. We do not recommend use for asthma sufferers or anyone who is experiencing breathing difficulties.
